These Alla Prima portraits are created from sittings ranging from 4 - 6 hours painted directly from life.  These sketches provide studies as the basis of further works, or are created just for the pure enjoyment of the process. A large part of Anastasia's practice revolves around the complex and interesting relationships which form during sittings. Inspired by the characters she paints, many of her models have turned into life long friends.
